3) North West Coast Korean Comitium: A workshop attended by 150 Legionaries, with the subject of "The Street Apostolate, as it is done in Korea", to help generate new ideas. A new women's Praesidium was established in Anchorage.

5) San Francisco Mission Excelsior Cura: An Apostolate to the Crowd, and a Book Barrow are regularly done. A Frank Duff prayer group was started in September 2014. In addition to an English speaking Praesidium at Corpus Christi Church, there are also Spanish speaking and junior Praesidia. Two Columban Drives are scheduled. Sr. Velicaria, Council President, reported that as a member of her parish council, meeting with the Archbishop on his visit to the parish, she shared about the Legion of Mary, and the Peregrinatio Pro Christo. The Archbishop said that "door-to-door is the way to go", and asked that he be given a report on the PPC and the Apostolate to the Crowd.

Below, an excerpt from Porta fide - Emeritus Pope Benedict urges us to publicly profess our faith: "Confessing with the lips indicates in turn that faith implies public testimony and commitment. A Christian may never think of belief as a private act. Faith is choosing to stand with the Lord so as to live with him. This “standing with him” points towards an understanding of the reasons for believing. Faith, precisely because it is a free act, also demands social responsibility for what one believes.

The Church on the day of Pentecost demonstrates with utter clarity this public dimension of believing and proclaiming one’s faith fearlessly to every person. It is the gift of the Holy Spirit that makes us fit for mission and strengthens our witness, making it frank and courageous." With the Apostolic Letter of 11 October 2011, Pope Benedict XVI declared a Year of Faith.
The Legion of Mary will continue their ongoing efforts at Evangelization, which remains the central work of the Legion. If you are a Catholic and want to help your Church, please join the Legion of Mary.
